DKB Software will be releasing the A1240 accelerator on July first. Its tentatively priced at $299.95. The board has an option for a 33Mhz - 50Mhz 68882 FPU and SCSI interface. Since the 68EC030 40Mhz chip has a socket, individuals will be able to install a 50Mhz based 68030 w/MMU if desired. Other features include a clock/calendar and a SIMM socket that can fit up to 128MB of RAM. Because the unit has one socket for RAM, a user must decide how much memory they need. Modules come in: 1, 2, 6, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 MB increments only.
